A lot of token spend is an absolute waste. And, hopefully, we can put the era of tokenmaxxing behind us. But what’s also a waste? Having no sense of what your token budget should be. If your CFO hasn’t started penciling that in, you haven’t begun to model out the ROI of AI. That’s a lot of missed opportunity.
And in the midst of this FIFA mania, I’d like to point out how accessible joy seems to be to my Mexican neighbours. Their open window lets me listen in to Spanish-language broadcasts of matches. Even the possibility of a goal elicits more excitement than the average Canadian ever experiences. Something exceptional is going on in Latin America, and the data around life satisfaction relative to GDP has something to teach the rest of the world. I’ll have what they're having.
