Of course, for folks who are already invested in the fossil fuel stack, the upfront capital costs of cars and the supportive infrastructure make it hard to switch. But those are mature markets, not sources of growth. First time buyers in emerging economies - hello Pakistan, Sri Lanka, etc. - are never going to look at legacy solutions the same way.
